'Lochranza' is a fantasy novel, the first of a series of five with the overall title of 'The Book'. It is set in the imaginary world of Anoone. The central character, Ben Troon, is a trainee Mage, or wizard, who meets and falls in love with fellow student Bliss. When Ben is sent to the distant city of Lochranza to continue his studies, he loses Bliss and is distraught. At this point the Archmage Caerlugh intervenes, giving him a mission to travel throughout Anoone, recording all that he experiences in a journal, the Book. He is given a companion, the mysterious Motria, and together they set off.
'Lochranza' is published by Austin Macauley ( www.austinmacauley.com ) , ISBN 978-1-3984265-1-1. In the UK it can be ordered from Waterstones or W.H. Smith, or, of course, through Amazon, as well as direct from the publisher. I have high hopes that it will do well, otherwise the four following books will never see the light of day, and readers will never know what happens to our hero!
