In March, Christ Church visited LA and San Francisco and held alumni events in both cities. The Dean, Dr Irwin Zaid, and Laura Jostins-Dean (Deputy Development Director) were delighted to meet with alumni during the week-long trip. 

In LA, a group of alumni gathered at the Loews Hollywood Hotel for drinks and nibbles on Tuesday 25 March. There was an opportunity to meet new faces and share memories of Christ Church. 

In San Francisco, we were very generously hosted by Matthew le Merle (1981, Georgraphy) and Tallulah le Merle (2012, Geography) at their wonderful home in Tiburon on Thursday 27 March. Members heard from Dr Irwin Zaid, Director of Oxford Edge and computer science tutor at Christ Church, about our new entrepreneurship and innovation centre and also had chance to meet with other alumni from across Oxford University who live and work in the Bay area.
